2024 Licensure and TX Legislation Webinar Recordings

In 2024, TSGC hosted a two-part webinar series presented by the Licensure Committee. These webinars were developed to educate genetic counselors about the pathway to licensure in Texas and the legislative advocacy efforts supporting H.B. 1503 and S.B. 642 during the 2025 legislative session.

While TSGC’s licensure efforts were ultimately unsuccessful during the 2025 legislative session, these recordings remain a valuable resource for understanding the history of genetic counselor licensure efforts in Texas, the legislative process, and the advocacy work undertaken by TSGC and its members.
